SNOWY MOUNTAINS, NSW – In breaking news Triathlon Australia have announced that the Australian Cross Triathlon Championships is set to return to its High-Country home in Australia’s iconic Snowy Mountains in February 2024.
With mother nature at her breathtaking best, TreX Snowy Mountains offers triathletes a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in this iconic destination in an epic high country Swim, Mountain Bike and Trail Run
Home to the 2016 ITU World Championships this course is renowned on the world stage and is set to both challenge and delight Australian Championship contenders.

From hardcore triathletes to those taking their triathlon off road for the first time and the littlest dirt kids there’s something for all comers at TreX Snowy Mountains. Events include Standard, Sprint, Teaser, Dirt Kids, Duathlon and AquaBike.

DIRT MASTER! Take on the Ultimate Off Road Endurance Challenge
For those hardcore athletes who are up for two days of off road action, get ready for the Ultimate Off Road Endurance Challenge at Dirt Master NSW. Dirt Master and Dirt Mistress contenders will take on two gruelling long course events across two days.  Events include:
- Saturday AM:Â TRA21Â Half Marathon | Trail Run Australia Snowy Mountains
- Sunday AM: TreX XTri Standard Course 1500 – 24 – 10
But, if you’re not quite up for that but would still love to test yourself across both events check out our Mini Dirt Master or Junior Dirt Dude challenge.

Hey Girl…are you a Mountain Biking Scaredy Cat?
The Bungarra Centre is located on the Barry Way in Jindabyne just 2kms past the Sport and Recreation Centre. Please get in touch for further directions if you’re not sure where to go. Be sure to ​arrive 15 minutes before and meet up by the big green shed on the right hand side, past ​reception.
- A mountain bike in good running order – contact Gravity Sports, Sacred Ride for bike rentals or bike tuning
- An Australian approved bike helmet
- Gloves – preferably full finger
- Socks that cover ankle bones
- Water and a snack – if you don’t have a water bottle cage on your bike, a hydration pack or backpack is a good alternative
- Comfortable clothing suitable for riding and the prevailing weather conditions; bike shorts with a chamois are recommended
- a rain coat if it is a wet day; please do not wear tank tops or sleeveless jerseys
- sunglasses are recommended for eye protection
- Suitable footwear (bike shoes or runners)
