In Winter it's all aboard the snow train, so to speak, but of course there actually is a snow train! Catch the Ski Tube up from Bullocks Flat Terminal on the Alpine Way, in Thredbo Valley to the peak of the range at Perisher. It's an engineering feat and will have you on skis in no time, especially if you change trains at Perisher and jump on the Blue Cow train. This lets you off right on the snow's door, no lines or queues!
